New Zealand based enviro-tech company, CarbonClick announces a new partnership with leading travel technology provider, Amadeus.
The rollout of a voluntary carbon offsetting program, first to New Zealand, Australia and Singapore will then be followed with other key markets.
The solution will ultimately be deployed to travel agents across the globe on the Amadeus Selling Platform Connect and direct to travelers via Amadeus Dynamic Travel Documents.
The partnership marks another positive step toward taking transformative action on a global scale by adding both a business and customer offering to a growing suite of sustainability actions.

The offset program is available to Amadeus users through a simple, easy to use portal. The portal will provide a quick and easy way for agents to calculate the carbon offset for the trip being booked, the value of that offset and associated carbon offset receipt.

As part of the partnership, travelers who receive a travel itinerary from within Amadeus Dynamic Travel Documents, will also have the opportunity to offset their flight’s carbon footprint via https://traveller.carbon.click/offset.
