Kambr is derived from the word ‘camber’ — the shape of the wing which generates lift, enabling flight. Founded in 2019, and now a subsidy of Amadeus, Kambr's mission is to unconstrain airline operators, leaders and travelers through a hub of software, consultancy and content.

At their core, the founding team are #avgeeks who have dedicated their careers to aviation, specifically commercial departments. All have held the role of revenue analyst, continuing to direct analyst teams, build software, lead companies, advise start-up airlines and restructure existing airlines. Collectively, they have a proven track record of success with over 100 global airline customers.

In 2018, Kambr was nothing more than an idea shared among a few friends and past colleagues from the aviation industry who imagined a better way of working for revenue analysts.
By 2019, a company was founded, a team was brought together, software production began and Kambr's first airline customers were signed.
The company quickly gained traction and attention from the industry as it changed the face of revenue management. Many product releases and several customers later, this culminated into the acquisition by travel-tech leader Amadeus.
